The favourite places of the lovers of the wind in Javea

The months coldest of the year (December, January and February) are usually also the windiest in the Costa Blanca. The orography of Javea can enjoy unique views when the days are swept by the wind. There are some places that ensure a fantastic panoramic that sometimes we see portrayed in photographs. The tradeoff: withstand strong gusts of those that make us wonder what we do there.

These are the four favorite sites of the lovers of the wind in Javea:

1. the Summit of Montgó.

Surely the most striking panoramic but which also requires more effort. To get it should upload the 752 meters and, probably, to withstand the cold and especially the wind blowing at the Summit during the winter months. However, it is worthwhile when we stand on the cusp of the emblematic mountain and look to our around. 2. the windmills of la Plana.

As its name and architecture reveal, mills were built - some in the 14th century - in the plain of the Cape of San Antonio known as Las Planas because it is a place which tend to have wind most of the year. Today the reconstruction of part of the set of eleven Mills is underway and in some of them they placed even beaters as in its origin. Sit in one of the margins next to mills, feel the wind in your face and observe whole Bay of Jávea to the Fund; they are unique sensations.

3. the Cabo de San Antonio.

Scroll to the end of the Cape, next to the lighthouse, and get - eye, is sometimes difficult - to open the car door beating strong wind, it will be worth it when we realize that we have before us, and we can see, Ibiza. 4. Cap Prim.

We are moving towards the South and, also, to the East: the sea. The path that leads up to the Cap Prim is relatively simple to navigate. Just need to be clear about one thing: when we get to the end of Cape will be virtually surrounded by only of water. And if it's windy you will have it by the four sides. A phenomenon that allows glimpse yet clarity Javea Montgo in the background, the wonderful Portichol Illa to the South and the horizon of the sea.

5. The Mirador de la Granadella.

With the ascent to the Montgó, is the path more difficult, not so much by the distance but by the gap that we must overcome. But once we arrived we will quickly forget. The cliffs of Jávea and Benitachell differ from the viewpoint of la Granadella. They appear to US Virgin, naked, with all his strength.
