Salón Náutico de Denia 2016, the appointment for lovers of navigation

Already in full spring, from April 29 to May 2, will be held IX Edition of the Salón Náutico de Denia. This event, which already is in its ninth edition, is being consolidated as one of the most important in Europe for sailing enthusiasts in general.

The boat show is organized by the Marina de Denia, with the support of the municipality of this city on the Costa Blanca and sponsored by second consecutive year of water safe Yatscham. This year, it will improve the 13,000 square meters of exhibition of the previous edition.

Throughout the four days of the event the stands of shipyards, naval electronics companies, can visit companies specialized in textile, and nautical tourism entities of complementary services to navigation... And no shortage of activities from water sports which are carried out within the framework of the living room.

The objectives are to show to Denia as a key destination for nautical tourism throughout the year and give an added value to the whole of the Costa Blanca, one of the best in Europe to buy a House, enjoy the possibility of having a boat and take advantage virtually 365 days thanks to the mild climate.

A variety of moorings

Denia is a very attractive for all lovers of the sea since in recent years it has increased its offer of moorings. Thanks to the expansion of the docks of private initiative, it has positioned itself as one of the most important centres of the Mediterranean level sites to moor boats of all kinds.

There are more than 2,000 (2.098 in particular) ties available in Denia in the different docks which make up its large port area: the public port (with capacity for 595 boats of up to 8 meters in length), the Yacht Club (601 moorings for boats from 6 to 20 metres in length), Marina Denia (fits 410 boats of up to 60 meters in length) El Portet (484 berths from 6 to 15 metres in length) and Varadero Port (with room for 8 gigayachts up to 60 meters).
